Music Briefs: Sandy Beam honored at Andy Griffith Museum
The Andy Griffith Museum will pay tribute to Sandy Beam, a Surry County music legend, at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Andy Griffith Museum, 218 Rockford St., Mount Airy.
Patti Miller Fulk will serve as mistress of ceremonies, and Mark Gillespie and Melva Houston are scheduled to appear.
Tickets are $10. Proceeds benefit the Sandy Beam Scholarship Foundation.
